Federal Cup National Tennis begins today
ISLAMABAD: The 33rd Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis Championships starts with the qualifying round at the PTF/DA Complex from Saturday. All the top leading players Aqeel Khan, Muzammil Murtaza, M Abid, Heera Ashiq, Shahzad Khan, Mudassar Murtaza, Ahmed Ch, M Shoaib, M. Waqas Malik and ladies players Sarah Mahboob Khan, Sara Mansoor, Mehek Khkokor and Noor Malik will be seen in action. Five events to be contested during the tournament include men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies singles, ladies doubles and senior doubles 45 plus.
Meanwhile, Tariq Mehmood Murtaza chaired the Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) Executive Committee meeting and approved the arrangements for holding the 33rd Federal
Cup National Ranking Tennis Championships in a befitting manner.
