Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis from today
KARACHI: The 33rd Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis Championships will kick off from Saturday (today) at PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad.
Tariq Mehmood Murtaza of Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) chaired the executive committee meeting and approved the arrangements for this championship. M Arif Qureshi, ITF White Badge official, will officiate the event while Khalil Chughtai will be the tournament director.
Five events of mens singles and doubles and senior doubles 45 plus will be played during the championships. The qualifying round of mens singles will be played on Monday. Top 24 players will be accepted into the main draw of mens singles as per PTF National Rankings and eight players will qualify through the draw of qualifying. The organisers have separated the junior events from the professional categories.
