Two shot dead in Kohat

KOHAT: Two persons were shot dead and another sustained injuries in separate firing incidents in the district on Thursday, official sources said. They said that one Maqsood Khan, naib qasid in local courts, was on his way home in Kalu Khan Banda from the market when unidentified motorcyclist opened fire on him, leaving him injured. He was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The police registered the case on the report of Osama, son of the slain person, against unidentified accused and launched investigation. In another incident, unidentified armed men shot dead one Abdul Hameed near his property centre in Darawal Banda. The accused fled the scene.
