QUETTA: Unknown armed men killed a former deputy inspector general police in the Sariab road area here on Wednesday night.
According to the police, unknown armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire on former DIG Police, Quetta, Qazi Abdul Wahid in the Sariab road area which caused his death. “The armed attackers opened fire on the former senior police official in front of his house, leaving him dead on the spot,” the police said, adding that the accused managed to escape from the scene.
The police shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem. According to doctors, the victim received multiple bullet wounds which caused his instant death.
