Two friends shot dead in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: Two friends were gunned down over enmity near Khurrianwala Bypass on Wednesday. Fauji Rashid Ahmad and Amanat Ali, residents of Chak 99/RB, Jandiala, were on way home after performing their duty in a factory on bicycles when Jameel Awan and others shot them dead and escaped from the spot.

FAISALABAD: Two friends were gunned down over enmity near Khurrianwala Bypass on Wednesday. Fauji Rashid Ahmad and Amanat Ali, residents of Chak 99/RB, Jandiala, were on way home after performing their duty in a factory on bicycles when Jameel Awan and others shot them dead and escaped from the spot. The motive behind the double murder is stated the old enmity. Later, the relatives of Rashid and Amanat blocked the traffic for over two hours by placing the bodies on Khurrianwala Road to register their protest against the incident. They demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali of Chak 216/RB, Muhammadwala, allegedly murdered his sister Nasreen over a domestic issue.
