Danish lifts Musaib Shaheed tennis crown
ISLAMABAD: Danish Ahmed won the Captain Hassan Musaib Javed Shaheed Tennis Tournament beating Abrarul Haq in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, says a press release.
Brig Rashid Wali Janjua was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away prizes to the winners. The chief guest said: “We will be backing all the tournaments to be held in memory of shohada.
PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik also pledged to provide everything required for these tournaments.
Tournament Director Inamul Haq said that we are organising such tournament every month and I am very thankful to Maj Gen Asghar Nawaz, who provided us prize money for the participants.
Inam also thanked the chief guest for making time out from his busy schedule and also thanked PLTA’s Iftikhar Ahmed Rao, chairman PLTA and Rashid Malik for providing balls for the event. He also thanked Islamabad Tennis Academy Director Mushaf Zia for lending his courts for the championship.
