COAS inaugurates hockey turf

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday inaugurated new artificial hockey turf laid here at the Ayub National Park courtesy to the Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) and Army Heritage Foundation (AHF).
The turf has been rated as the best around and would cater the requirements of budding players including that from MPCL team.
The COAS also watched hockey match played between Pakistan Greens and Pakistan Whites. The Army chief appreciated MPCL for its efforts to revive the national game.
