2 Afghans held in Chakwal

CHAKWAL: Police arrested two Afghans and recovered illicit arms from them in separate incidents here on Sunday night.
On a tip-off, City police raided General Bus Stand and arrested Abdul Wahab for not having legal documents to reside in Pakistan. During initial interrogation, the police also recovered a 30-bore pistol and narcotics from him. Likewise, Sadar police raided and arrested Ehsanullah Arif for not keeping legal documents of staying in Pakistan. The police also recovered 2,499 grams opium from him. Meanwhile, Sadar police arrested Dildar Hussain of Nishat Colony and recovered 140 grams charas from him. Similarly, police arrested Hashim Mehmood of Dhab Khushal village with a 30-bore pistol and five bullets. The police also nabbed Zafar Iqbal of Thati Jamoo village and recovered a 30-bore pistol and five bullets from him. In another raid, police arrested Qaisar Hammad of Kot Chaudrian village with three liquor bottles. The police have registered separate4 cases.
