Two killed as bikes collide in Haripur
HARIPUR: Two motorcyclists were killed and three others injured when three motorbikes collided on Tarnava Road on Sunday.
Police officials said that five students of Government Degree College Khanpur were riding three motorbikes when the collision took place and all the five students were injured.
The injured were rushed to Khanpur Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where Raja Mubashir Kiyani, a student of 1st year, was pronounced dead while other five were referred to Haripur Trauma Centre where Sameer Ahmed also succumbed to his injuries.
However, three of the rest of injured students identified as Zaheem Nawaz, Ihsan Ahmed and Muhammad Umar were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad for tertiary care. The cause of accident was stated to be reckless driving.
