Railways lift Women Kick-Boxing trophy
LAHORE: The second National Men’s and Women Kick Boxing Championship was held at the Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex Gujranwala.
Pakistan Railways lifted the trophy by winning a total of 20 medals, including nine gold medals, three silver and eight bronze medals. Around 200 men and women players from Railways, Customs, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and all four provinces participated.
Balochistan secured second place with six gold, nine silver and five bronze medals while KPK was third with four gold, three silver and four bronze models. Chief guest on the occasion was Mian Shahid Islam, Special Director General of Pakistan Sports Board. Sports Officer Railways Sports Board Tariq Mehmood, officials Atta Hussain Butt, Chairman Chamber of Commerce Mian Omar Saleem, 10-year-old South Asian Champion Sher-e-Pakistan Omar Pahlawan and a large number of spectators were present on the occasion. Chairman Technical Committee Mansoor Ahmad Durrani performed the duties of the chief Jury.
