Five dacoits kill youth on resistance
People stage demo, demand immediate arrest of robbers

HAFIZABAD: Five dacoits killed an 18-year-old youth on resistance during a dacoity at Kharban village on Friday.
The dacoits broke into the house of Nazar Hussain and looted thousands of rupees. Later, the same dacoits forced their entry into the house of Pervez and looted Rs 3,000. After committing the dacoity in the house of Pervez, the robbers broke into the house of Ilyas and tired to loot it but Ilyas’ brother Mumtaz Ali resisted. It infuriated the dacoits and they shot Mumtaz dead. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, a large number of villagers staged a demonstration against police. They said that the dacoits had been looting the villagers for the last many days. They said that they had informed Pindi Bhattian Sadr police several times but to no avail. They have demanded immediate arrest of the dacoits.
