JHANG: Assistant Commissioner Imran Asmat on Friday demolished various illegal shops during an anti-encroachment campaign on Yousaf Shah Road, Church Road, District Courts Road, Ayub Chowk, Jail Road, Satellite Town and Katchi Road. The AC also raided different restaurants and sealed them for not taking proper cleanliness arrangements. He also sealed four famous sweet shops and bakers on the same charge. Later, talking to The News, the AC said that the administration had served notices to the shopkeepers to remove their illegal encroachments but they did not obey the orders.
