Larkana Police arrest suspects involved in gold theft
SUKKUR: The Larkana Police have claimed to have detained suspects allegedly involved in stealing gold valued at millions of rupees from Resham Gali on Thursday.
The SSP Larkana, Masood Bangash, told The News that two suspects were arrested from Karachi, while the search for the main accused along with his accomplices is also on. He said an abandoned double cabin with an empty box that was stolen from the jeweller's shop carrying gold and jewellery was recovered from a Khairpur-Larkana bridge.
Bangash said the vehicle was registered in Lahore. SSP Bangash said they are working on concrete clues and were hopeful of arresing the main accused soon. Early this week, gold valued at millions of rupees was stolen from Abdullah Shaikh’s shop in Larkana's Resham Gali.
