Drug-peddler held in Kohat

KOHAT: The police arrested a drug-peddler and seized contraband from him in the limits of Ustarzai Police Station on Saturday, police said.

They said that acting on a tip-off, a police party headed by SHO Humayun Khan established a checkpoint in the hilly area and nabbed a man identified as Mirjad Khan with a sack containing 8 kilogram hashish. The police seized the drug and a pistol and booked him under the relevant sections.
