Accused confesses to involvement in blast outside PHC

PESHAWAR: The alleged terrorist held in connection with the bomb blast outside Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday confessed to his involvement in the attack, an official of the Counter-Terrorism Department said.
The official said Ikramullah, an Afghan national, was arrested for a prime role in the bomb blast outside the PHC on December 16. Eleven people were wounded in the blast that also left several cars damaged.
The CTD and police later arrested Ikramullah, Afghan national, who entered into Pakistan via Chaman border on December 16 and was paid by a terrorist commander for the attack.
The CTD officials said the accused was presented before the court on Thursday where he confessed to his involvement in the terrorist attack.
