Tribal elder shot dead in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Unidentified armed men shot dead a tribal elder and cousin of senior lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi in Bashirabad locality in the provincial capital on Thursday.
Police officials said the gunmen opened fire on the car of Wazir Khan Afridi in Bashirabad near Pajaggi Road, killing him on the spot. The senior cops said a case has been registered and investigation launched to ascertain the motive for the incident and arrest the killers.
