Kabaddi player among eight booked for murder

FAISALABAD: Nishatabad police on Wednesday registered a case against Kabaddi player Saba Sultana, her father, two brothers and four unidentified persons on the charge of killing Imran Ahmad, who allegedly shot at the Kabaddi player and later attempted suicide by his pistol Chak 5/JB, Kamalpur.
The case was registered following a protest by the relatives of Imran after his death. The deceased’s family alleged that Saba, her father Abdul Sattar, two brothers Abdus Salam and Bilal Ahmad and four unidentified persons were involved in the murder of Imran. Both Imran and Saba were admitted to Allied Hospital after the incident where Imran died while Saba is still in critical condition in the hospital.
