for taking raiding party hostage

FAISALABAD: A raiding party led by the city assistant commissioner was taken hostage by the factory owners and their workers at Sidhpura on Tuesday.
On a tip-off, the AC along with his team raided the fake bottling factory, which was working for the last many months. The factory owners, including Rana Sajjad, and employees raised an alarm, locked the factory gates and took the raiding party hostage. The raiding party sent an SOS message and a rescue team arrived on the spot. On seeing them, the workers took positions on the factory roof and started pelting them with bricks. The entire area turned into a battlefield for at least one hour.
Ghulam Muhammadabad police have registered a case against 255 accused under sections 342, 506-B, 354 and 186 of the PPC and 7 ATA. Police have arrested main culprit Rana Sajjad.
