The case filed by the previous government has now been finalized by the special court which has awarded capital punishment to Pervez Musharraf for implementing Emergency and abrogating the constitution in 2007. It is a landmark decision and has closed all avenues of adventurism in the future.
Dictatorship is the worst form of government. Most countries have fortified democracy in their political system. Pakistan has miles to go before reaching maturity. The special court has moved one step ahead in dispensing justice showing that nobody in our country is above the law.
