Jansher, Kazim discuss squash uplift
ISLAMABAD: Former world champion Jansher Khan and Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Dr Kazim Niaz discussed ways and means during a meeting to further promote the game of squash in the province.
Chief Secretary praised Jansher Khan’s services for the promotion of the squash and bringing in laurels for the country internationally.“Jansher services are second to none. He has raised country’s image internationally. We hope and pray youngsters will emulate Jansher and would work hard to earn a name for the country and himself,” he said. Jansher who was also accompanied by his young squash playing son Ali Sher Khan hoped that every effort would be made to promote squash in the province. “I hope provincial government would take extra steps to promote squash in the province and help youngsters take up the game,” Jansher said. Both also discussed holding mximum tournaments and providing squash friendly facilities for players, including rebuilding existing squash courts, squash academies.
