Islamabad: The International Islamic University will remain closed for students on Monday (Dec 16) as well and will resume classes on Tuesday (Dec 17).
However, it will remain open for the administrative staff on Monday.
The university had closed its campuses on Friday following the killing of a student in a violent clash between two student groups.
According to a spokesman, the university will launch an operation in male hostels on all campuses to evict and act against illegal boarders and outsiders.
All Pakistani men living on the old and new campuses have already been told to vacate hostels for the 'combing operation'.
