JOHANNESBURG: Lungi Ngidi has effectively been ruled out of the Boxing Day Test against England because of a "significant Grade 1 hamstring muscle tear", it was confirmed on Sunday The pacer is expected to be fit only by January and has been ruled out of the Mzansi Super League final as well. "Lungi Ngidi sustained an acute hamstring muscle injury during the warm-up prior to the MSL T20 play-off on Friday.
