Russian minister, British HC call on COAS

RAWALPINDI: Denis Valentinovich Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, the ISPR said. Both reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations for peace and stability and economic prosperity of the region.

Separately, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Christian Turner also called on the COAS at the GHQ.

The COAS welcomed the British high commissioner and wished him well for the assignment. During the meeting, matters pertaining to mutual interests came under discussion.
