British political consular meets Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi
LAHORE:Political Consular in the British High Commission Ms Iona Thomas called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi at their residence here Wednesday.
During the meeting, there was consensus on further improving peoples’ contacts campaign for promotion of bilateral relations.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi stressed the need for formulating mutual strategy for overcoming environmental and climate changes. In this regard the Punjab government can work with British institution DFID and other donor agencies, he said.
He said Imran Khan and ally parties together are working on a mission to strengthen Pakistan politically and economically, democratic system is gaining strength in Pakistan, as a result of the government’s policies positive image of Pakistan soon come to the fore. Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that Pakistan has historical relations with Britain which are further improving and gaining strength with the passage of time.
