Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for facilitating Asif Zardari as per law
LAHORE:Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that former President Asif Zardari should be provided all facilities according to law.
“Asif Ali Zardari has been President of whole Pakistan, not of Sindh; therefore, he should be provided same health facilities which were provided to Punjabi Prime Minister,” he said, while talking to various delegations of people hailing from different schools of thought raising the issue of what is being said about Punjabi Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, here at his residence in Lahore on Tuesday. The PML-Q Sindh President Muhammad Tariq Hassan along with a delegation called on him at his residence, who informed that there are talks about former President Asif Ali Zardari regarding transferring of his cases to Punjab for trial. However, Shujaat Hussain said the issue should not be given provincialism, this should not be said as such, Asif Ali Zardari has been President of whole Pakistan and not of Sindh, federal government should also provide him all facilities according to the law as the former President of Pakistan so that provincialism matter does not catch more attention, cases which are on Asif Ali Zardari in Sindh, these being tried in Punjab afford opportunity to such elements for talking.
Saudi investors: Saudi investors’ delegation headed by prominent Saudi investor Fahd bin Muhammad Albash called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
During the meeting, views were exchanged to promote economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Welcoming the guests, Pervaiz Elahi said that government of Pakistan would encourage Saudi investors by all possible means; relations of love between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are gaining strength. Punjab Assembly Speaker said that relations between the two countries were being strengthened with every passing day.
