Bilawal and Bhutto
December 10, 2019
This refers to the letter 'Advice to Bilawal' (Dec 8) by Abbas R Siddiqi. It is good to know that Bilawal is taking an interest in the welfare of people of Sindh. The advice by the writer for Bilawal to curb corruption seems a daunting challenge since it is not that easy to hold one's loyal and committed followers accountable and keep a check on their activities.
Bilawal should be a torchbearer of the ideology of his grandfather Z A Bhutto for a society based on moderation, enlightenment, and social justice. He should stick to principles rather than political expediency. Bilawal should never join hands with any demagogic personality to meet political ends.
