BHAKKAR: The Anti-Corruption Establishment circle on Saturday booked former EDO Health Bhakkar, DHO and ex-MS of the THQ Hospital on the charge of misappropriating Rs 37,500,000 during purchase of medicines in 2013-14.
The ACE took action on the application of the Punjab additional health secretary who in his application said that the officers allegedly misappropriated the amount during purchase of medicines, which had been proved in an inquiry.
MEETING: DCO Ahmad Mustajab Karamat on Saturday chaired a meeting held at his office to review deadline of Board of Revenue regarding completion of land record of 90pc areas of the district.
Under the new policy, any person could get ‘Fard’ of his/her land in 20 minutes and transfer of Property would be completed in one hour. The complete record would be put online when it would be completed. After that, the work on urban property record would start.
