Two ‘terrorists’ killed in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police killed two alleged terrorists in a search operation in Zafarabad area on Tank Road on Friday, official sources said.
They said that acting on a tip-off, the police launched the search operation in Zafarabad. “The terrorists opened fire on the police from an abandoned house during the search and in exchange of fire two terrorists were killed,” said an official.
The slain persons were identified as Amir Abu Bakr and Ghulam Jillani. The police officials said the two were wanted by the police in connection with murder, attempted murder and other terror activities.
The sources added that both of them were affiliated with the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led by Khiara. The police also seized their arms and other explosive devices.
