Body of sexually-abused girl found in Thatta
SUKKUR: A body of a seven-year-old missing girl was found from a field suspected to be throttled to death after being sexually abused at a village Muhammad Khan Chandio of Ghora Bari in Thatta. Two accused, including her uncle, confessed their crime that they had throttled a seven-year-old girl Dua Mallah, d/o Altaf, after sexually abusing her. Reports said a girl was mysteriously missing from her village, while her father had informed the police. The police recovered the body from a field after 24 hours and had taken into custody two alleged accused, including her uncle Arshad and Sikandar Shah. The police claimed that both the accused confessed to their crime and told that they had given Rs 20 to the girl and taken her to an abandoned place. They allegedly confessed raping and killing the girl to hide their crime. The police also recovered blood stained clothes of the victim.
In another incident, a woman along with her two kids jumped into the Sohra Canal near Kandyaro, while locals rescued her son and brought the woman and her daughter’s bodies out. Reports said the woman Inshilla Khoso, w/o Yaseen, along with her two children Paras aged six and Mujahid aged four had jumped into a canal near Kandyaro. Meanwhile, the decomposed body of a boy was found at Kot Lalo Railway near Faiz Ganj in Khairpur, identified as of Asif Rajper. Murad Rajper, father of the deceased, told the police that his son was abducted from the shrine of Ghazi Ibrahim Shah by the alleged members of Jhangi clan, who later killed him.
