Police nab outlaws, seize weapons, narcotics in Haripur

HARIPUR: Police seized a large cache of illegal weapons during search operation against anti-social elements, besides arresting several proclaimed offenders (PO’s) and suspects in the jurisdiction of Sarai Saleh Police Station on Friday. Sources in police said on a tip-off a police party, led by SHO, Khalid, raided at a hideout of criminals and arrested the Karim Khan, Masood Khan, Wajid Aziz and recovered a rifle, 20 bullets, two 30-bore pistols, 30 cartridges, 30 litres of hooch along with 20 grams of heroin from their possession.
Police have also arrested several absconders and suspects during their search operation, registered separate case against the culprits and started further investigation.
