BAHAWALPUR: A condemned prisoner will be hanged in the New Central Jail here today. Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Ward No-3, Mohallah Ghareeb, Hasilpur, will be hanged in the presence of a doctor and the jail officials. He was awarded death sentence by a court for killing his brother-in-law Riaz Ahmad over a property dispute on December 23, 2002. Meanwhile, the jail officials arranged his last meeting with his relatives on Friday.
