KARACHI: Tayyab Aslam qualified for the semi-finals of $5,000 Men’s City of Greater Bendigo International Squash at Bendigo Squash Courts in Bendigo, Australia on Friday.
In the quarter-finals, top seed Tayyab defeated unseeded Ko Youngjo of Korea 11-6, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6 in 51 minutes to face third seed Joshua Larkin of Australia in the semis.
Earlier, in the second round Tayyab beat Rhys Dowling of Australia 11-9, 11-6, 11-9 in 35 minutes and thrashed David Clegg of Australia 12-10, 11-8, 11-8 in 23 minutes in the first round.
