Pakistan clinch 4 more gold medals in SA Games

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan earned four more gold medals on Tuesday with Saadi Abbas living up to his reputation while shooting team events also fetched two top position for the country.
Sadi win gold in 75kg karate event, making it three in the game for Pakistan. In all Pakistan won three gold, seven silver and one bronze in Karate alone. Kulsoom won silver in women 68kg category. Hosts Nepal dominated Karate event winning eight gold medals so far.
Pakistan also pocketed two gold medals in shooting team event. In three position rifle team event for men Pakistan’s Zeeshan Shakir, Aqib Latif and Ghufran Adil won gold. Pakistan shooting team also won team gold in Centre fire. Maqbool, Bashir and Khalil Akhtar took gold in the event. Shahzaib broke the ice in the taekwondo when he won gold in 54kg category to make Pakistan’s sixth gold medal in the event so far. Besides six gold Pakistan have earned 11 silver medals so far and 15 bronze.
Pakistan volleyball team has failed to maintain its supremacy over India and was defeated 1-3 for gold medal match Tuesday.
