IGP awards cop for distinction

Islamabad

Islamabad :Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar on Monday awarded Head Constable Muhammad Waris for good performance during Kabaddi Junior World Cup.

On behalf of Islamabad police, Head Constable Muhammad Waris participated in this event and Pakistani team won bronze medal during the competition. A total of 16 teams participated in this tournament held in Iran and Pakistan team got third position.

IGP Islamabad said that policeman from Islamabad police showed brilliant performance which was real honor for the force.

He said that entire force feels proud of him. DIG (Security) Waqar Ahmed Chohan, DIG (Operations) Waqaruddin Syed, SSP (Traffic) Farrukh Rasheed, AIG Kamran Adil and other officials of Kabbadi team were also present on the occasion.
