Six people killed, three others injured in Sukkur region
SUKKUR: Six people including two women were killed and three others injured in different incidents in Sukkur region on Monday. Report said a clash between two groups of the Lolai clan claimed lives of four people identified as of Jaija, Hurmat, Sheer and Abdul Qudoos Lolai, and left a woman Nazira Lolai injured at the village Foujo Lolai in Kandhkot. The police later controlled the hostile groups and stopped the clash. They also shifted the bodies and injured to the local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The enraged relatives of the deceased along with their bodies staged a sit-in on the Indus Highway and set tyres on fire and demanded the arrest of the murderers. The police after negotiation with the protestors cleared the highway.
Meanwhile, a report said the accused Sheeraz Chand allegedly shot dead his uncle Guda Hussain over a domestic issue in Mehar. In another incident in Bakhshapur, Faiz Muhammad Golo was killed and Qurban and Ghulam Mustafa were injured in a clash between two groups of Golo tribe over ‘Karo Kari’ claim.Girl stoned to death case
