50 MW solar unit inauguration delayed

BAHAWALPUR: The inauguration of 50 MW solar energy unit in Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park near Bahawalpur was delayed due to slow pace of work.
However, the solar panels for the unit have been installed in around 250 acres of land.
According to sources, the unit’s construction would be completed until August 31st and then its inauguration gate would be announced.
TWO INJURED: Two people suffered injuries when a speeding bus hit them near Sheikh Wahan locality on KLP National highway.
Khaliq and Ahmad Yar were moving on the road when the accident occurred.
BOY DROWNS: An eight-year-old boy drowned in the River Sutlej on Wednesday.
Muhammad Kashif was playing with his friends and fell in river and drowned.
11 DETAINED: Eleven people including two minor boys were rounded up by Chishtian City police during a raid on two internet clubs situated on Baldia Link road.
