Cleric abuses two students in Okara village

OKARA: A cleric abused two students at Mupal Kay village on Monday.
Irfan, 10, went to a village mosque to learn the Holy Quran from Maulvi Noor Muhammad Wattoo of Khooh Wattooan. When Irfan did not return home after some hours, his father Nazir Ahmad went to the mosque where another villager Muhammad Aslam told him that his son Gulfam, 10, also did not return home. To it, Nazir and Aslam with three villagers reached a distributary while searching their sons where they saw that Maulvi Noor was allegedly sodomising Irfan. The other child, Gulfam, told his father that Maulvi Noor also sodomised him. Chuchak police have registered a case after arresting the accused.
MAN KILLED BY DACOITS BURIED: A man, who was killed by the dacoits on resistance, was buried at a local graveyard on Tuesday.
On Monday, the dacoits killed Nazir Ahmad on resistance on Depalpur Road near Venus Chowk. A case has been registered under Sections 302 and 392 of the PPC. Meanwhile, talking to newsmen, DPO Faisal Rana said that police had obtained the CCTV footage of the dacoits. He said that the dacoits would soon be arrested.

OKARA: Renala City police have registered a case against Anjuman-e-Mazareen Punjab general secretary Mehr Abdul Sattar and 51 others under Sections 506-B, 337-H2, 148 and 149 of the PPC, 16 MPO, and 7-ATA.
According to the FIR, the AMP organised a public meeting at Chak 20/1-RB in which AMP general secretary Mehr Abdul Sattar alleged that the law-enforcing agencies had illegally detained AMP Renala Estate president Nadeem Ashraf since long. He said that the AMP must collect funds to get Nadeem Ashraf released. To it, hundreds of AMP activists started aerial firing and chanted slogans against the government and law-enforcing agencies.
