Zaynab, Komal enter squash tourney final

KARACHI: Zaynab Khan and Komal Khan won their respective semi-finals with contrasting results in Girls Under-19 event of Jubilee Insurance All Pakistan Junior Squash Championship 2019 at the RKJK Squash Complex here on Thursday.
Zaynab faced little resistance from Ilsa Imran and took only 17 minutes to book her place in the final, recording a straight-set 11-4, 11-7, 11-5 victory.
Komal was given tough time by Aiman Shahbaz before the former recorded a 11-5, 18-20, 11-8, 12-10 win in a 33-minute encounter. In boys under-19 semi-finals, Zeeshan Zeb overcame stubborn Hassan Raza by 11-7, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6 after a 34-minute battle, which was the longest match of the day. Uzair Shoukat took 22 minutes to beat Moaz Khan by 11-6, 11-9, 11-2.
