Two killed in Bahawalpur incidents

BAHAWALPUR: Two people were killed in as many incidents here on Monday. In the first incident, 18-year-old youth Muhammad was allegedly shot dead by his two cousins Muhammad Mazhar and Sohail over a petty dispute on the eve of the marriage of his sister at Basti Peppli Rajan in the vicinity of Naushera Jadeed police station. The police have started investigation. In the second incident, 45-year-old Sakina, a resident of Chak 26, Gajjyani, was allegedly poisoned to death by her husband Muhammad Bashir over a domestic dispute. The police are investigating.
MAN KILLED BY TRAIN: An unidentified blind man was crushed to death by a train near Iqbalabad on Monday. The man was crossing a railway line when the train crushed him to death.
