KARACHI: FMC Pakistan Junior Squash Open that was scheduled in Lahore has been cancelled due to lack of foreign entries.
It has been learnt that this WSF & PSA Satellite Tour event and ASF Asian Junior Super Series “Silver” event did not receive any foreign entry. “No foreign player sent entries. This is why it has been cancelled by the organisers,” said a source while talking to ‘The News’.
This was to be the first international junior squash event to be held in the country after a gap of six years. Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) last held an international junior event in the country in 2013 — 5th Roshan Khan Junior Open.
