Air ambulance to take Nawaz to UK tomorrow, says Marriyum
ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Sunday party supremo Nawaz Sharif will travel for treatment abroad on Tuesday.In a statement, she said the air ambulance will arrive on Tuesday morning to transport Sharif. According to her, the former prime minister will initially be shifted to the United Kingdom where doctors will analyse his condition and decide if he would be treated there or moved to another country.
The doctors were holding consultation to adopt the best treatment to make Sharif medically fit for the journey. They were in the process of administering high potency steroids to raise and stabilise his platelet count. The doctors were also striving to keep his blood pressure, blood sugar and other vitals as close to normal as possible.Aurangzeb requested the nation to continue praying for Sharif’s safe travel and speedy recovery.
