Ashar wins ATF 14 & Under Super Series Tennis title

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ashar Mir won the title of Commissioner Karachi ATF 14 & Under Super Series Tennis Championships (Leg 1) at Karachi Gymkhana here on Sunday.
In the finals of boys’ singles category, Ashar overpowered wildcard entrant Taha Aman 6-2, 4-6, 6-0. Nadir Mirza, a wildcard entrant from the US, defeated Zain Ehtisham 6-4, 6-3 to take the third position. In the final of doubles category, Taha and Ashar beat Zain Ehtisham and Ahmed Nael 6-2, 6-1.
