FAISALABAD: Two brothers were killed and seven others injured in different incidents of roof collapse here on Sunday. In the first incident, Shakeel Ahmad (18), Raheel (14), Adeel and their sister Mehrun Nisa were present in their house when its roof collapsed at Chak 61, Narwala Road, in Sandal Bar police limits. As a result, Shakeel and Raheel were killed on the spot while their brother Adeel and sister were injured. The injured brother and sister were shifted to the Civil Hospital. In the second incident, Rafia Bibi and her brother Akbar Ali were seriously injured when the roof of their house caved in at Mohallah Chibban. The injured were shifted to the Allied Hospital. In the third incident, Razia Bibi, Asif and Akbar Ali were injured when the roof of their house collapsed on Chibban Road. It is worth mentioning that roofs of the dilapidated houses caved in due to the rains, which lashed the city during the last two days.
