‘PML-N wants postponement of LG polls in Punjab’

MULTAN: The Pakistan Seraiki Party chief has said that the PML-N wants postponement of the local government elections in the province but the PSP will resist it.
Addressing a meeting in connection with the 76th birth anniversary of Taj Langah here on Wednesday, PSP president Dr Nukhba Taj Langah said that Taj Langah was very much committed to the Seraiki national rights movement and he dedicated his life for the cause. . She criticised the government for delaying the LG polls in Punjab. She said that the PSP National Council had unanimously decided taking part in the LG polls in the province. She said that the party had formed parliamentary boards for receiving applications from the candidates for party tickets. She said that the PSP National Council had decided to award party tickets to the candidates on priority basis. She said that the PSP would enter the power politics through the LG polls. She said that the PSP was with the armed forces.
