PESHAWAR: The elders of three tribes including Khwedad Khel, Darsmand and Tall of Hangu district have warned the government to launch demonstrations if the government failed to take action against the Khujal Khel tribe whom it accused of illegally occupying their land in the Paloseen area. The elders said that a piece of thousands kanals of land belonging to the three tribes had been in possession of Khujal Khel for the past five decades and the dispute had taken several lives during clashes from time to time. Malik Ahmed Bangash said: “We have time and again requested the local administration of the Frontier Region, Lower Kurram, but to no avail. He said on the one hand, the Khujal Khel occupied the land illegally and on the other hand its people used to target the villages belonging to the three tribes by firing rockets and killing the innocent people.
