ISLAMABAD: Chief of Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao asked the government to award exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in Kasur child abuse incident.
Talking to media persons out side the Parliament on Monday, he said the Kasur incident had tarnished Pakistan’s reputation globally. He was of the view that the whole nation was sad and in grip of grief on child abuse issue.
It was the responsibility of parliamentarians to take effective steps to stop such incidents in future, he added.
To a question he welcomed the return of PTI in the National Assembly and expressed the hope that it would play effective role in and out of parliament for the welfare of people and development of the country.
