SHO, SI suspended for implicating man, son in murder case

OKARA: DPO Muhammad Faisal Rana has suspended SHO Inspector Maqbool and investigation in-charge SI Ghulam Ali for implicating a man and his son in a murder case.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, the DPO said that Mandi Ahmadabad police registered a murder case against Anwar and his son Muhammad Ahmad.
After some days, an autopsy report of Ayesha Bibi was issued by the doctors, which declared her death natural, he added. He said that the SHO and the investigation in-charge challened the man and his son instead of quashing the case in the light of the autopsy report. The DPO said that the two police officials had received bribe for the purpose. Meanwhile, the DPO ordered an inquiry and appointed DSP Headquarters Tariq Zafar as the inquiry officer.
