Cash, valuables looted

DASKA: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Wednesday.
Ijaz Cheema of Jamkey Cheema was on his way by a motorcycle when two dacoits intercepted him and snatched cash, a cell phone and the motorcycle from him. In another incident, Muhammad Ashraf parked his motorcycle outside a private hospital. When he returned, he found it missing.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A youth attempted suicide in the City police area on Wednesday.
Qasim attempted suicide by taking acid. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The motive behind the incident is said to be a domestic dispute.
