FAISALABAD: Former MNA Chaudhry Sher Ali Tuesday said announcement of hunger strike by MQM chief Altaf Hussain is a publicity stunt.
Talking to the PML-N delegations at Kashmir House, he said like other statements, Altaf will also withdraw the hunger strike statement.
The MNA said the government was determined to restore peace in Karachi.
He appreciated the role of Rangers in restoring peace and tranquility in Karachi.
