Eidul Fitr a day of gratitude, says Qadri

Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri Friday wished happy Eidul Fitr to Pakistanis and Muslims across the world.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said Eidul Fitr is a time of intense spiritual renewal, a joyous occasion and a day of gratitude for the blessings we enjoy bestowed on us by Almighty Allah.
He said we must not forget those poor people who could not afford the luxuries of life and we all must share our happiness with them.
He said on this day we must display thanksgiving by giving donations and food to those less fortunate than ourselves. He said on the occasion of Eid, PAT would not forget the martyrs of the Model Town tragedy and their families.
He said the blood of the Model Town martyrs would bring about liberation from the subjugation of the cruel rulers and we would not rest until the culprits were hanged.
He advised the faithful to follow Islamic teachings and exhibit unity for helping the suppressed Muslims.
